I was class president freshmen year (class presidents are automatically put in asb except freshmen since you can’t predict who it will be) but I never knew what was going on so I just asked to be in the class and presto.
I’ve been looking through the year book for an hour or so now while listening to climax on repeat. Just looking through the book made me so sad. It made me remember everything wonderful that happened in high school. To list some out:
Volleyball
Going through the season undefeated until the last game. There were some games when we literally points away from losing but we always pulled through. Playing my last game well and proudly against Lynbrook. Being with Rachel, Sarah and Emj through every up and down. The 4 years of blood and tears through all the drama was worth it when I look back and realize that I went through the program from beginning to end to leave off with the first co-league champion title for volleyball in Tino history.
ASB
Becoming the first 4 year ASB member in Tino history. Being class president for 2 years and learning so much. It’s transformed me into such a better person. To have an impact at my school and doing something significant in high school. To literally making every moment count and to take chances. Becoming someone important. Meeting some of the best people. Having something consistent and never changing in highschool. Being happy that I didn’t go through high school as a “regular” student.
Friends
I can’t get into my best friends right now but in general, meeting some of the most beautiful, funny, cute people in the world. Sometimes I wonder if there are people as unique and as great them at other schools because it’s highly unlikely there are people as amazing as the ones at Tino elsewhere.
4 years in ASB has finally come to an end. Its the only consistent thing through high school. I remember sitting through 3 years of senior awards receiving their quirky gifts and appreciative comments from Jro. I used to wonder what was going to be said about me and what I was going to receive. It’s such a huge chunk of my life thus far but I’m glad to finally leave! Onwards to new things! :3

There’s been so much tension in my classes lately. Everyone just wants to fight each other. People snapping here and there, being rude, obnoxious, stubborn, and prideful. We only have a couple of DAYS left with each other, why must we end off on a sour note? C’mon now.
Today was my last final and it was a horrible way to end my last one as a senior. I didn’t study calc because I thought that I knew the material well enough. So I decided to just read the examples and understand them because I only needed a 60% to maintain my B. However, I barely looked at them because I fell asleep. I went to class, and the beginning was quite doable so I thought I was guaranteed over 60% but at the end, it got so hard and I couldn’t even understand what the questions were asking me to do. :/ I literally had 5 minutes left and 10 questions unanswered out of 40. 20 of them were probably wrong anyways but I felt horrible and incredibly sad because if I get a C, I might be at risk to get rescinded. I can’t get rescinded from my dream school. I’m so sad. All I needed was a 60% but I’m pretty sure I got less than that. :/ Sighs.
